Summary

Many of us wake up already feeling overwhelmed by the maddening times we are in-and we haven't even swung our feet around on the floor or digested a cup of coffee yet.

We can't get out of the house much, which gets stale.

I changed working out from 6:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. You may decide to work out at 5:30 p.m. on some days.

Come up with target companies where you want to work, seek out direct managers to whom you may report to, and reach out directly for exploratory conversations.

Take control of your search, set daily goals for the number of people you will reach out to each day, and make the outbound activity your goal.

Make it your intention to check in on your network and invite them to a 15- to 20-minute call to check out what they are up to and how they are doing.

In addition to opening up your soul from helping people feel heard by you reaching out, you will find job leads and learn more about the marketplace to determine what companies are hiring from these conversations.
