FlexJobs recently reported how at least 27 companies have switched to long-term remote work, including Adobe, Amazon, Microsoft and Capital One. Many analysts believe that the remote-working environment will continue to thrive long after the pandemic."The Covid-19 outbreak and subsequent social isolation measures have caused companies to explore remote work options and implement collaborative tools in an attempt to sustain business through the crisis, says Rick Gibbs, a performance specialist with Insperity, a human-resource solutions firm.
"As the number of remote workers increases, and teams prove they can maintain productivity outside the office, some employers may consider remote work as a permanent solution." And according to Global Workplace Analytics, an estimated 25% to 30% of the workforce will be working from home multiple days a week by the end of 2021.
